One of my absolute favorite installations.

This Spanish-made porcelain tile with Japanese influences is the perfect choice for a kitchen backsplash, vanity wall, or shower. While the tile itself is stunning, what really makes this project special is the custom pattern. Before installation, we completed a full dry layout and made small adjustments to achieve the best visual balance.

This is where thoughtful design makes all the difference. Custom layouts shouldn't be left to chance—or to your installer to figure out on-site. Taking ownership of the pattern beforehand ensures the finished space looks intentional and cohesive. In this case, simply rotating a few decorative pieces to anchor the blue tones exactly where we wanted them completely transformed the final result.

The details may seem small, but they're often what separate a good installation from a great one.
