This design was built around the warm gray-green tones of the cocoon-shaped mosaic, with every other material selected to complement it. A larger-format subway tile helps balance the scale, while marble adds a layer of timeless character. Though it can work with a variety of styles, I especially love it paired with a warm traditional wood vanity.

This is my idea of a timeless design. I originally created a version of this space more than a decade ago and liked it enough to recreate it in our next showroom with only a few tweaks. Years later, it remains one of the most-requested looks—a reminder that classic materials never really go out of style.
